Barriers to College Education Denies Equality for Disabled College Students

Many disabled college students in the U.S. still struggle to get the accommodations they need, even though laws like the ADA are supposed to protect their rights. Challenges like not knowing what support is available, fear of stigma, and schools not having enough resources make it hard for these students to succeed. Without proper accommodations, students often face lower grades, higher dropout rates, and more stress. Colleges need to do better by funding disability services and making sure accommodations are actually provided, while we all work together to speak up and push for change.
